In the JHub’s case, that includes up to three lights, water pump, hot water switch, battery ‘sleep’ mode and a slide-out if fitted.
The JHub's 7in Android touchscreen tablet can be removed and operated around the van, communicating wirelessly with BMPro’s latest J35 battery management system and ControlNode 101 that’s also part of the new package.
The JHub’s home screen displays the date, time and ambient indoor temperature, and it will also provide up-to-date information on water tank and battery levels, current power source (solar/car aux/mains) and power usage, with the ability to customise certain functions.
It also comes with an internal solar regulator and air suspension function, hinting that Jayco may soon offer airbag suspension, possibly on its new off-road Adventurer. The JHub is also ‘future proof’ and can be upgraded with new software as it becomes available.
Already a standard feature on Jayco’s new, four-model off-road Adventurer range, the JHub technology is designed and manufactured in Australia by Victoria-based Setec, which has supplied power management solutions to Jayco for a number of years.
