Australia's biggest RV manufacturer is getting behind this year's Daniher's Drive charity run, with proceeds from the raffle of a 19ft Jayco family caravan going towards raising awareness and funds for those dealing with motor neurone disease (MND).
The 2022 Jayco Starcraft Bushpack caravan valued at $61,990 including on-road costs, is the raffle prize for next month's Daniher's Drive, one of the annual fundraising activities for the FightMND charity co-founded in 2014 by AFL legend and MND sufferer Neil Daniher.
After two years of delays due to the pandemic, the 7th Daniher's Drive will involve a convoy of 80 cars carrying more than 300 participants, travelling through a number of Victorian regional towns over four days.
Scheduled for October 13-16, the 895km long route ventures through the towns of Myrtleford and Bright, over the Great Dividing Range to Lakes Entrance and Warragul.
The raffle tickets cost $50 each, and the competition is open to residents of Victoria, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
According to the competition page, the Jayco Starcraft Bushpack 19.61-3 family caravan up for grabs is "adventure ready, with its abundant storage options, fully equipped kitchen, ensuite and living areas".
The triple bunk van sleeps up to six people, and the draw is set to take place on October 15.
