Jayco CrossTrak full-size caravan arriving soon

New full-height CrossTrak off-grid model set to break cover in early-2026

Jayco is set to reveal its first line-up of CrossTrak fixed-roof caravans at the 2026 Victorian Caravan Supershow in February next year.

The CrossTrak was first announced in 2019 as the manufacturer's first compact pop-top hybrid, featuring a large external kitchen recess and external shower tent. But it has since evolved and become more caravan-like and off-grid ready, available currently with either 14ft or 16ft pop-top layouts.

First look at the 2026 Jayco Crosstrak caravan

Jayco released a new-look 2026 CrossTrak pop-top at the 2025 Melbourne Leisurefest in September, and the new full height version appears to follow a similar exterior theme, including the latest dune exterior colour, black front toolbox and rear platform bar, together with a Cruisemaster DO-35 coupling with JTECH 2.0 independent coil suspension.

While yet to announce any pricing or specifications, Jayco says the new CrossTrak caravan will come with a 300Ah lithium battery system including four 260W rooftop solar panels, a 3000W inverter and a four inch touchscreen.

Other standard features will include a Cloud 9 pillowtop mattress for the queen bed, a roof-mounted air conditioner, 153L fridge, on-demand hot water, leatherette seating, and a dust reduction unit, with a number of options available including a 48V off-grid power system and airbag suspension.

The new Jayco CrossTrak caravan will get a large slide-out kitchen

It will also get the CrossTrak's latest slide-out kitchen alongside a tunnel boot and other external storage, to go with an inside kitchenette, and therefore provide a point of difference from other Jayco off-road 'vans.

Jayco is currently advertising two CrossTrak caravan layouts on its website, both with rear ensuites: a 17ft couple's layout and an 18ft couple's layout with a dinette that converts to another bed. The Melbourne manufacturer says to get in touch with a Jayco dealer if you'd like further details, or want to order one...
