Professional ironman Zane Holmes has put his gruelling training regimen on hold for a few days, recently embarking on a camping trip that will take in some of the best beach spots along the NSW coast.
The 29-year-old Gold Coast resident is the most successful Ironman in surf lifesaving history, winning two World Ironman Championships and five Kellogg’s Nutrigrain Ironman Championships amongst other awards.
As part of his role as a Dometic-Waeco lifestyle ambassador, Holmes will be on the road for two weeks in the company of his wife; fishing, surfing and enjoying the hospitality of Top Tourist parks, while hosting a few Happy Hours along the way.
Kicking off at Scotts Head Holiday Park on April 26, the couple is staying at South West Rock Tourist Park, Weeroona Caravan Park at Manning Point, Lanis Holiday Island, One Mile Beach Holiday Park and Dunleith Tourist Park, before making an appearance at the Sydney Caravan and Camping Supershow at Rosehill Racecourse.
They will be doing it in style too, towing a Jayco Outback Eagle Campertrailer behind a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, and using a bunch of handy products including a Hema HN5i Navigator GPS, Waeco CoolFreeze CF-50 fridge/freezer, Cool-Ice 55 litre icebox, PowerVac 12v vacuum cleaner and a PerfectKitchen 12v Car Kettle.

Holmes can also be seen at the Sydney Caravan and Camping Supershow at 1pm on May 7, taking part in a ‘cook off’ at the Entertainment Area near stand 193. At 2pm on the same day he will be signing autographs at the Dometic-Waeco (stand 257) at the show.
