
With slower sales for Aussie-built caravans this year and dealers stuck with excess stock, it’s a great time to pick up a bargain - whether you're looking for your first new van or seeking an upgrade.
In the lead up to Christmas many manufacturers and dealers are offering substantial incentives to move brand-new, 2019-model or other slow-moving stock, including cash-backs, bonus accessories or just big discounts; in some cases up to $18,000 off the original price.
Here are some of the enticing deals on offer..

Nova End of Year Sale
Melbourne caravan manufacturer Nova is having an end of year stock clearance sale across all its dealers. The sale will culminate in special sale events from Friday December 6 to Sunday December 8, with side attractions including giveaways and free BBQs.
One of the deals currently advertised on caravancampingsales is for a Nova 21ft 6in Family Escape six-berth caravan. It's priced at $67,990, and includes $5600 of optional extras including a gas heater, reversing camera, external shower, soundbar and additional solar panel.

Jayco Factory Bonus
Australia's biggest RV manufacturer recently offered some deals as part of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday online promotions, and the good news is that they've been extended to December 7.
Available across Jayco's 29 nationwide dealers, Jayco is offering up to $3000 in bonus factory options on selected models. For entry-level camper trailers priced from $18,690 you receive $1000 bonus extras, while that's increased to $1500-$2000 for pop-tops and caravans priced from $25,690 to $79,690.
The full $3000 bonus extras are available on Jayco Silverline caravans, as well as some campervans and motorhomes priced from $79,990.

Crusader Sizzling Summer Sellathon
Crusader's Sizzling Summer Sellathon (try saying that three times quickly!) is available on a range of ‘Autumn 2020' build Crusader caravans ordered by December 24.
The factory deal includes up to three, free extras with a value of up to $3000 for Crusader Lifechanger, Musketeer, Excalibur and X Country models, or $1500 for the entry level Chameleon box camper.

Apollo End of Year Clearance
Grab a great deal on a full composite Winnebago, Coromal or Adria caravan or motorhome at Apollo’s End of Year Clearance.
The advertised deals are available on a range of stock at Apollo RV retail centres in Melbourne, Adelaide, Geelong and Newcastle, and include the Adria Altea 402H caravan (reduced by $4000 to $39,990), a Coromal Element Evo 553 (slashed by $10,000 to $51,510), and a Winnebago Burke B (reduced by $6000 to $57,906).
You can also pick up a Euro-built, compact Adria Action 361 LT for $36,990 (reduced by $6000), while there's quite a few cut-price Perth-Built Coromal caravans remaining, that Apollo purchased when it too over the brand last year.
These include a 2017-model Coromal Element 661s and 2018 Element 632s at the Melbourne outlet for $59,180 and $48,160 respectively – both representing a price drop of $16,000 according to Apollo.
You can also save ten grand on a 2018 Winnebago Mossman A ensuite van. with deals also on run-out stock of Adria and Winnebago campervans and motorhomes.

New Age Big Xmas Getaway Sale
It’s a good time to grab a bargain at some of the bigger capital city dealerships that exclusively stock caravans and campers from top-three Australian caravan manufacturer, New Age.
New Age's Melbourne dealer is advertising a well-equipped Wayfinder 13ft Comfort camper trailer for $27,990, or $6000 less. There's also a $10,000 saving to be had on a 2019 New Age Manta Ray 20 Bunk caravan priced at $66,490 driveway, according to the dealership, while a 2018 New Age Gecko 16ft Enduro Bunk model (similar to the one we towed to Darwin a couple years' back) is being run out at $56,990, a saving of around $12,000. A similar saving can be had on a 22ft 2018-model Big Red caravan, now priced at $69,990.
To sweeten the deal, New Age's Big Xmas Getaway Sale throws in a $1000 gift pack with every New Age caravan sold. There are also factory cashback offers of up to $3000 on New Age stock caravans ($1000 on stock Wayfinders).

Avida Wave Run-out
Avida dealers in Victoria, Queensland and NSW are offloading a number of unloved Wave electric pop-tops, including an 18ft foot version with triple bunks for $40,990 and a multi-terrain 18 footer with bunks and ensuite for $59,990. Both represent a saving of $18,000 off the RRP, according to the NSW manufacturer.
Avida’s Shoalhaven NSW dealer is also doing a deal on a 2019-model 20ft off-road Avida Rock 'demo' caravan, priced at $87,175, as well as a number of Avida campervans and motorhomes.
Ian Grant Plate Clearance
Victorian dealer Ian Grant's Caravans is also clearing out excess stock of 2019-build Essential and Franklin caravans.
The sale runs from December 5-8 at the Traralgon yard, and includes an 18ft 6in Essential Grant Cruiser Design 1 with optional grey water tank and ESC reduced by $5000, to $49,990, and a 2019-model Franklin Core 220 semi off-road family caravan for $67,990 -- a saving of $7000 according to the dealer.
