Brisbane manufacturer of extreme off-grid hybrid campers, BruderX, has joined the dark side, with the release of three new limited-edition 'Stealth' models aimed at cashed-up buyers seeking the ultimate in all-terrain towable RV technology.
Available on Bruder's EXP-4 pod camper, mid-size EXP-6 pop-top and fixed roof hybrid campers and its top-spec EXP-8 hybrid caravan, the 'Stealth Edition' upgrades include new Stealth black styling, gloss white interior cabinetry, black Stealth 18in alloy wheels with 305/60R18 off-road tyres, black colour coded suspension, a 4500lb rear recovery winch, black Maxtrax recovery planks, a tyre inflation kit, and one or two electric awnings, depending on the particular model.
The 'Stealth' upgrades also extend to upgraded battery and solar systems including an up to 800Ah lithium battery system, and inclusion of a 2000W inverter charger with cabin-mounted AC outlet, 12V solar input with additional MPPT, and a 300W Bruder portable solar blanket, depending on the variant.
The EXP-4 Stealth Edition also gains a chassis-mounted spare wheel holder and wheel, a Platform rack and an exterior drop-down shower/toilet tent with portable toilet, along with a twin Rotopax fuel and dry storage cell, and interior upgrades including a Queen-size innerspring mattress, mesh screens for internal shelving, an internal bunk or storage shelf, roof skylight ventilation hatch, internal adjustable reading lights, a pair of 12V fans, and an 80-litre front-opening fridge/freezer.
Both the EXP-6 and EXP-6 Stealth models also benefit from the addition of a black leather sofa with red stitching and arm rests, along with a flooring colour change and enhanced sound systems.
The EXP-6 Stealth also gets an 80-litre front opening fridge/freezer, and an additional 45-litre water tank with 12V remote water pick-up system, and extra storage including a Bruder wood and storage rack mounted on the nose.
Meanwhile, the range-topping EXP-8 Stealth hybrid caravan gets the Rotopax fuel containers, a roof-mounted light bar, and 240V microwave oven, to add to its already long list of cutting-edge features.
Not surprisingly, the 'Stealth' editions weigh a lot more than the standard models, with the EXP-8's ATM boosted accordingly to 4000kg, in order to deliver a decent 800kg-plus payload.
"Created to deliver a next-level off-road experience" according to BruderX, the EXP-4 Stealth Edition is said to come with more than $12,000 of bonus inclusions for its Australian price tag of $120,000, while the EXP-6 PT Stealth ($248,000) and EXP-6 GT Stealth ($255,000) include more than $15,000 of extras.
The Stealth-equipped EXP-8 is priced at $315,000, or $16,000 more than the ground-breaking standard EXP-8 model.
