Melbourne’s Goldstream RV is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a number of updates rolled out across its popular wind-up camper trailer range.
On display at this week’s Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow at the Melbourne Showgrounds, the 2023-build Goldstream campers are now available with an optional $3300 powered roof raiser (or half price for any camper ordered at the show).
The Pakenham, Victorian-based rough-road camper and pop-top specialist had on display a number of its latest couple and family camper trailers at the Victorian Supershow, including a new top-spec Wing 3 ST Platinum family model.
The optioned-up display camper priced at $67,390 (drive-away, ex-Victoria) was fitted with the optional Jacka Jay 12V roof lifting system, along with a king bed upgrade, telescopic table slider, 100Ah lithium battery and BMPro charger, to go with a long list of other features including a DO-35 off-road coupling and coil independent suspension, and a family-friendly floorplan boasting an internal shower/toilet, kitchenette and lounge/dinette, along with queen and king slide-out beds.
It’s not the first time that Goldstream has offered an electric roof option on its camper trailer models, which have been in continuous production since Goldstream set up its first Melbourne factory in 1993.
However, the latest powered-roof option supplied by NSW-based Jacka Industries, is a proven unit that’s also been fitted to Jayco and New Age campers with similar design wind-up mechanisms.
Specialising in off-road-oriented campers and pop-top models, Goldstream RV has sold close to 6000 of its trademark wind-up camper trailers over the past 30 years.
