Gold Coast Expo set to shine

The 2022 RV show season is in full swing, with more than 100 exhibitors set to display their wares at the Gold Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo at Metricon Stadium from March 4-6. 

The first of four annual shows organised by Caravanning Queensland, the 2022 Gold Coast Expo will feature some of Australia's biggest and best known caravan brands including Concept, Viscount, Supreme, Avan, Avida, Masterpiece, Bushtracker, Royal Flair, Crusader, Retreat, JB, Coromal and Regent.

Although like last year there are some noticeable absentees from the exhibitor list, including big selling Jayco and New Age Caravans.

There are also some newer names in the mix like Boss Adventure Caravans, as well as Australian/Chinese all-electric 48V caravan brand Harvok.

Motorhome shoppers will be able to browse some of the latest models from Horizon, Frontline, Knaus, Avan, and Windsor.

After initially starting out as Roadstar dealer, new Brisbane retail outlet Caravana will showcase some of the latest caravans from Paramount, Crusader and Australis, alongside some Sydney-built Suncamper motorhomes, while value-for-money imported hybrid camper brands will be out in full force with the likes of Austrack, Lumberjack, Fantasy, MDC, Opus, Prime, Stoney Creek, and Wild Boar.

Ozcape and Trayon will also display their homegrown slide-out ute campers, while other Australian camper manufacturers exhibiting including Lifestyle, Ultimate, and Cub Campers, and Brisbane's Condamine which should have its new family friendly hybrid bunk camper on display.

Aside from the product displays, the Gold Coast Expo will offer free daily towing demonstrations and educational seminars on caravan weights and towing, as well as a Land Train amusement ride for the kids.

A MyCoolman Adventurer prize pack worth $1694 is also up for grabs.
