Glenn McGrath supports NSW Supershow

Australian icon and legendary cricketer Glenn McGrath will once again help promote the NSW Caravan, Camping, 4WD and Holiday Supershow, which celebrates its 40th anniversary from March 29 to April 6 at Rosehill Racecourse

McGrath first experienced caravanning as a young boy on family holidays at a North Haven holiday park on the NSW North Coast.

"I remember playing cricket with some of the other kids staying at the park," McGrath said. "The lifestyle is so relaxing and friendly that you look forward to your holidays every year."

Barry Baillie, CEO of the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW, predicts that the 2008 Supershow will be Australia's broadest display of caravan, camping, 4WD and tourism industry products, attracting an expected 86,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors.

Visitors can test 4WD vehicles and accessories at the unique 4WD Village and Track, while the Supershow Passport initiative provides the chance to win a range of caravan and camping prizes.

Gates are open from 10am to 5pm and parking is free. Admission costs $17/$11 for adults/pensioners and senior card holders, and accompanied children are admitted free.
