Queensland’s Sunseeker Caravans put its new full-height Vision off-road caravan on display at the recent Gold Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, joining the three pop-top Hybrid Vision models it released in September last year.
Costing $124,990 in dual axle 19ft 6in form with a Tare weight of 2650kg and priced at $105,990 in shorter, 17ft 9in single axle guise, both models come highly-specced for serious off-road travel, incorporating many of the class-leading features of their pop-top Vision brethren.
Standard features include air bag suspension, disc brakes, an Enerdrive management system for their standard 150W lithium batteries (upgradable to 300W), a power awning, twin Sirocco 12v fans, filtered fresh water from a 270 litre onboard supply, a Dometic Ibis 4 air conditioner, plus a Devanti top-loading washing machine under the bench in their separate shower and toilet rear ensuites.
An unusual exclusion is a standard microwave oven.
Their front A-frame tool boxes are the same as those on the pop-top Visions and incorporate holders for twin 20-litre jerry cans, two 9kg gas bottles and a manifold water distribution system that allows you to draw water from various sources and dispense it as you wish.
Both new full height Vision models are being built in Sunseeker’s new Coolum Beach factory and will later be joined by a bunk bed family model.
No frills, like their pop-top brothers, the full-height Visions are being marketed as the most capable and best-equipped off-road caravans of their type, with their price undercutting the offerings of their main off-road rivals.
