Free trip and RV makeover up for grabs

Ever dreamed of having your travel expenses paid for while cruising around the country in an RV loaded up with all the latest accessories?

Following the success of last year’s promotion, RV and leisure accessories specialist Dometic Australia is kicking off another ‘Follow the Sun’ competition. Once again three lucky couples will each score a 13-week expenses paid road trip in Australia including a makeover of their RV with the latest Dometic and Waeco products.

The winners will have their own caravan, camper trailer, motorhome or off-road vehicle fitted out with brand new Dometic/Waeco products, such as fridges, heaters and air-conditioners.

They’ll then hit the road for around nine weeks between August and October 2014, promoting their newly-fitted vehicles along the way.

Each prize package is valued at up to $35,000.

“If you love caravanning or camping around Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria and South Australia, but hate paying travel expenses, if you love meeting new people and can see yourself as a Dometic ambassador, then this is for you,” said Dometic Group managing director, Andreas Bischof.

As part of the deal, the winning couples will need to ‘connect’ with residents and tourists at local caravan parks along the way and hold ‘Follow the Sun – Happy Hours’ to show off their Dometic appliances to fellow travellers.

They’ll also post regular commentary and images on a live app so others can follow the adventure.
