Free camping for self-contained RV travellers is just one of the attractions for visitors to the inaugural 'Australia’s Biggest Bogan Festival', to be held in the central west NSW towns of Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin and Bogan Gate over July 12-13.
Tickets available for the inaugural event, which include a two-day pass for $85, include entry to around 20 activities including a darts, euchre and kelly pool comp, air guitar championships, yarn spinners and bush poets contest, bogan and indigenous art display, and sausage sandwich eating showdown.

Also set to bring out the mullets and moccasins is a Bogan Fashions in the Field, which will award prizes for best mullet, worst tattoo, Dad bod, and shortest stubbies, as well as crown the Best Dazza and Shazza.
A variety of performers including Chris Franklin, Hype Duo, Benny Bogan, Sweaty Palms and Roger Ward will provide live music and entertainment, with much of the activity taking place in local pubs including the Condobolin Hotel, Cambridge Hotel, Railway Hotel Bogan Gate and the Post Office Hotel in Forbes.
The Forbes Services Club will also run a separate Bogan Bingo and comedy night during the event.

Accommodation for RV travelers will be available at caravan parks in the area, with courtesy buses to the events, or self-sufficient travellers can free camp for up to 72 hours at the Bogan Gate Showground.
The organisers are also hoping to crown ‘Australia’s Biggest Bogan’ over the week-end, and auction off an old Hyundai Elantra 'bogan-mobile' for charity.
