I'm sure you've heard of the KISS principle. Keep It Simple, Stupid. Many people over complicate fishing and there's just no need.
The running sinker rig will catch almost any fish in almost any situation, but suits the estuary environment best. It's as simple as this.
Slide a ball sinker onto your main line and tie a hook to the end of the line. I prefer to use a locked blood knot as they never let me down.
They say the proof is in the pudding. Just ask my boy Jet Reef. He caught this bream and many others the same day on this simple but effective rig. Give it a go, I'm sure it will surprise you.
