Kayaks are all the rage at present and I just love fishing out of them.
Apart from the fitness aspect and the fact that you can access fish without spending massive dollars on a trailer boat, there is another added benefit.
Kayaks travel on the roof racks of your car and can be wheeled or dragged down to almost any beach for launching. The direct benefit of this is that you can avoid boat ramp lines and all the pain that goes with them.
On a busy day at popular ramps, wait times can be up to three hours just to retrieve.
With a kayak you'll be home, have the fish cleaned and settling down on the couch for another installment of IFish before the boaties even have their craft on the trailer. Just another reason to invest in a kayak.
