Caravan TV specialist Englaon is releasing what it says is the world’s first 12V DC-powered 4K Google TV.
Available in Australia from next month, the new Englaon X90 Pro Series TVs are built specifically for caravans, motorhomes, and boats, and according to Englaon deliver a true Ultra HD cinema experience without compromising battery life or off-grid set-ups.
Englaon says the new 4K TVs are "solar/battery friendly" and suitable for 12/24V DC systems, and run at just ~50W on 12/24V DC, so no inverter is required.
They're also designed for the road, boasting vibration-tested, frameless bezels and travel-friendly mounts, while the 4K Ultra HD resolution offers up to four times the detail of Full HD, even while powered directly off the RV’s batteries. You can also run the new 4K TVs off mains 240V power.
Other built-in features include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos compatibility, while Englaon says they also offer a "seamless Smart TV experience" thanks to the latest Google TV OS and Google Cast + Bluetooth systems.
The new X90 Pro Series line-up includes 32in (RRP$799.95), and 27in (RRP$749.95) models, with the compatible Dolby Atmos Soundbar also available for an additional RRP$279.95.
The X90 Pro Series TVs are available to pre-order now from the Englaon online store, with units shipping from November 18.
