Festive caravan lights up for Xmas

Themed caravans are all the rage, so it's no surprise that with the sound of reindeer bells approaching, a Christmas-themed caravan is on offer for those looking for a turnkey Yuletide holiday adventure...

Based in NSW, Tillie the 'Christmas Caravan' is now available for bookings, and can either be delivered to a campsite of your choice within 150km of Anna Bay, or towed away yourself with the 15ft refurbished 1965 Viscount Ambassador van weighing less than a tonne unloaded.

When you're not singing Christmas carols among the glittery decorations, the van offers bedding for up to four people inside, along with a kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, a shower and toilet, plus plenty of camping equipment and some modern appliances including a satellite TV, air-conditioner, reversing camera, solar panels and a bike rack.

As an additional perk, the $125-plus per night hire rate for November includes a free stay at a Reflections Holiday Park in Hawks Nest, Jimmys Beach and Seal Rocks, subject to availability.

"Those who book Tillie will be able to sit outside, get into the festive spirit and decorate the outdoor Christmas trees and, as the sun goes down, you can wrap solar powered fairy lights around the van, to create the perfect ambience," the owners say on the booking site.

"Inside, you will be treated to a festive fairytale as you are surrounded by delicate ornaments. To top it off, a wreath will be placed at the back of the van to really make it a home away from home, perfect for enjoying an early Christmas."

The Xmas-themed caravan appears to be a hit, with few available dates available left for the remainder of this year...
