Fantasy releases big luxury touring caravan

New lightweight imported 19ft couple's ensuite caravan priced from $58,990

Fast-growing, Melbourne-based RV importer Fantasy has added a new 19ft luxury touring model to its range of E-Series fixed height lightweight composite caravans.

Joining the 10ft and 12ft Fantasy E2 and E4 compact caravans, the new Chinese-built 19ft Fantasy ET-19A offers a spacious couple’s layout similar to that offered on many Australian-built caravans, including a north-south walkaround queen bed at the front, central kitchen and café dinette and a full width rear ensuite with separate shower and toilet.

New 19ft ensuite caravan weighs 2450kg fully loaded

The new upmarket touring van measures 7400mm long overall, 2300mm wide and 2930mm high, and has a plated Tare of 2020kg and ATM of 2450kg.

Described as a "semi off-road" van, the new 2-3 berth caravan boasts “high quality” fibreglass sandwich panel construction, according to the Fantasy website, and comes standard with a 50mm ball coupling, independent trailing arm coil suspension, black 15inch alloy wheels and light truck-rated all-terrain tyres.

Couple's layout includes walkaround queen bed and full width rear ensuite

Also part of the standard package are wind down stabilizer legs, a heavy-duty jockey wheel, twin gas bottle holders, and a 140 litre stainless steel freshwater tank and 70 litre grey water tank.

The new 19ft model also gets a 300Ah deep-cycle battery system with 300W rooftop solar and a touchscreen control panel, LED lighting, audio unit with speakers, 24in TV, rooftop air conditioner and an innerspring mattress, along with an ABS shower cubicle and Thetford cassette toilet in the rear ensuite.

Rear ensuite includes separate shower and toilet

The kitchen is fitted with a stainless sink with drainer and mixer tap, large Thetford fridge/freezer, 3+1 Thetford cooktop, grille and oven, and a rangehood.

Other standard features include a skylight in the main living area and roof fan hatch in the ensuite, and an external roll-out awning and picnic table.

Priced at $58,990, the new range-topping Fantasy model is backed by a five year structural warranty for the drawbar and chassis and a two year manufacturer’s warranty.
