Ever fantasized about being able to access the perfect bush/beach campsite via a rough track in a classic Kombi campervan and, upon arrival in this ideal location, create the perfect off-grid experience including kicking back on an elevated sunroom/viewing deck?
Well, a new video game titled Outbound that's coming to a PC near you, will be designed to fulfil all these RV dream scenarios plus more, and all without ever having to leave your home...

Netherlands-based studio Square Glade Games say it's in the process of developing the open-world camper van exploration game, and will be seeking input from fans as well as funds via a Kickstarter campaign before its release sometime in the future.
The studio said on the Steam website that the computer game will be "set in a utopian near future".
"You start with an empty camper van and turn it into the home of your dreams. Build and explore at your own pace. Scavenge materials, craft, automate production, and build in and on top of your vehicle with modular parts," the promotional blurb goes.
Gamers will also be able to "advance in technology and efficiently use energy to power your home. Adjust your strategy to adapt to new landscapes and changing environmental conditions".
