Big-selling Chinese RV importer Ezytrail has added another model to its stylish Euro-look, fixed height Winton touring caravan range.
Joining the compact Winton 10 mini caravan and larger 18ft Winton 18, the new 16ft (body length) Winton 16 composite caravan is available with both two-berth couple’s and twin bunk family floorplans, with a decent list of standard equipment and priced competitively from $61,990.
Like other Winton models, the new Winton 16 vans are constructed with a lightweight galvanised chassis, and use aluminium sandwich panels for the roof and walls, a one piece honeycomb composite panel for the floor and a GRP front mould.
Tare weight is listed at 1850-1880kg depending on the variant, with an ATM of 2500kg.
Both Winton 16 Twin and Winton 16 Quad variants get an east-west double bed at the front along with a single bench leatherette lounge/dinette, plus a kitchen galley and combination shower/toilet towards the rear.
The main difference with the family layout is the addition of a fold-down top bunk above the lounge-dinette, which essentially creates two additional bunk beds for sleeping smaller children.
Both single axle variants are fitted with a 50mm ball coupling, leaf spring suspension, 15in alloy wheels with highway tyres, and 12in electric brakes,
Standard features include a rollout awning, 160 litre fresh water capacity, twin 100Ah battery system, four gas burner stove and grille, 150 litre fridge/freezer, four-speaker audio system, 24in TV and a rooftop air conditioner.
A number of options are available including rooftop solar panels, a microwave, 12V fan, outside light and an external kitchen.
