For any new brand entering the highly competitive Australian RV market, there's no guarantee they will still be here ten years on. Yet Snowy River has not only stayed the course but has grown exponentially since launch in 2015, steadily building a loyal customer base as its product line has grown to 40 models.
The brand has built up so much that it moved into bigger factory premises in Melbourne. This year it has listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and has even more new models and technology to roll out. This includes the SRH hybrid range with the unique, trademarked SR-Xplore independent suspension system as well as a new campervan range.
Snowy River is fast being recognised for RVs that come equipped with all the features and tech you want while also being built well and good value for money. As part of the New Gonow RV family, Snowy River Caravans has become the second-largest RV brand in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Cementing its ongoing investment in innovative RVs, Snowy River’s parent company New Gonow RV has officially listed on the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX), marking it as the first RV manufacturer to go public on this exchange.
Not a company to rest on its laurels, Snowy River continues with regular innovation and improvement. Snowy River is celebrating its tenth year on the Australian market in 2025 with a new SRH hybrid range fitted with an electric double-insulated pop-top as well as an innovative new independent suspension system, the SR-Xplore.
The new Snowy River SRH hybrid range makes its debut at the Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow on February 19 - 23, at Melbourne Showgrounds. The SRH is at a dedicated site (293A), with other Snowy River models shown at site 703A. With six models from 13ft to 16ft—including two family-friendly models —the SRH range stays true to Snowy River’s well-earned reputation for quality and clever design.
Another great feature available in the Snowy River hybrid caravans is the mobile app which effortlessly integrates with the caravan’s inbuilt touchscreen. This allows you to control almost everything in your van, from wherever you are, including awnings, air conditioning, lighting, as well as off-grid power and water monitoring functionality.
The new SHR hybrid range also heralds in the introduction of the new outdoor kitchen setup called SR-2Tier. The name reflects the two-tier design of the outdoor kitchen with a dual-purpose swing-up pantry for versatile storage, expanded bench space and dedicated prep station as well as a pantry light for improved visibility.
Snowy River has another important new product also arriving very soon – its first ever campervan offering on the market. More will be revealed about this interesting new product at the Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow, so follow and keep an eye out on Snowy River’s socials for more info.
The SRH range all feature kitchen, living and bed areas plus ensuite amenity, all wrapped in a compact off-road pop-top hybrid body with independent off-road suspension and sturdy off-road body protection. With cutting-edge geometry and featuring symmetrical heavy-duty curved lateral arms, the new SR-Xplore independent suspension on the SRH hybrid range offers a new level of stability, vibration damping, wheel travel, control and durability.
The SRH range starts with the SRH-13, the most compact, 13-foot offering in the SRH hybrid series with an introductory price of $58,990. This model is intended for couples who want a lightweight RV, but one that still provides plenty of luxury features onboard. The SRH-13 features include a folding queen innerspring bed, a SR-2Tier Kitchen featuring a Dometic two-burner sink combo, and reverse-cycle air conditioning.
The top end of the SRH range is occupied by the SRH-16F (introductory price of $63,990), a 16ft hybrid caravan with bunks that includes a single bunk with café seating, a queen-sized bed, plus an ensuite curtain offering additional privacy. Also featuring a 600W solar panel system with dual 200Ah Lithium batteries, dual spare tyres and an external shower tent, the SRH-16F is designed to get your family out camping comfortably and easily.
Of course, the bonus of hybrid campers like the SRH range is that they are lighter and more economical to tow and are easier to get to that special off-the-beaten-track camping spot due to more compact external dimensions than a traditional off-road caravan.
