For the 2017 updates, the smaller Glider and Sunseeker models feature an improved interior, which extend to a clear skylight (replacing last year’s white Fiamma skylight) that incorporates a sliding concertina flyscreen/blind.
The seat covering material, now Scotchguarded to prevent staining, is in a new light tan material on one side and darker coffee colour material on the other. The covers are now also removable so that they can be washed.
There are also new, lighter ceiling and wall materials, designed to make the space feel larger. The ceiling is now a light tan colour in a diamond pattern and the wall material featuring a new, light tan suede cloth.
GVM has been increased for the micro Glider and Sunseeker models, up 100kg from last year’s 750kg, to 850kg. The base-model Glider (without shower /toilet) is 560kg Tare, giving a payload of just under 300kg.
The heaviest model in the micro range is the Sunseeker with shower/toilet, at 700kg Tare.
There are also new exterior options across the range including an AL-KO AKS1300 anti-sway coupling ($650) and 14-inch alloy wheels on a 165R14C tyres, at $300 each. The anti-sway coupling is intended to improve high-speed stability and the new, wider wheel/tyre package gives a slight improvement to ground clearance.
