Enduro van mover

TXP International Pty LTd, a Melbourne-based distributor of caravan and RV products, has released the Enduro caravan mover from Purpleline in the UK

According to TXP, the Enduro's electric motors, wired to the caravan's battery, are able to move a single-axle caravan of up to 2000kg on a level surface and 1475kg up a gradient of 20 per cent.

The design includes a feature called "cross-actuation" whereby both motors can be engaged from one side of the van with the remote control - useful when your van is parked hard up against a wall or in limited access situations.

It comes with detailed installation instructions, and in some cases no permanent modifications are required. A mechanically minded person should be able to mount the Enduro, which can also be dismounted relatively easily when you upgrade or sell the van.

It costs $2495 and comes with a three-year warranty.
