The 1730mm wide camper module features a clam-shell rear door with aircraft-style steps, while the gas-strut assisted roof, when raised, delivers up to 1980mm headroom inside. There are also four wind-up stabilizer to support the module when camping.
The Earthcruiser slide-on sleeps up to four, depending on the variant, with a 1350 x 2000mm double bed and a lounge/dinette that converts to another double bed or two singles.
Priced from $79,800, the Express XPS also comes with an internal shower/toilet, plus an external shower unit. Other features include a 100 litre water tank and a 10 litre diesel tank for the diesel-fuelled space and water heater and cooktop, a stainless steel sink, 70 litre fridge/freezer, 200amp lithium battery system with 1600W inverter and 400W solar panels, roof fan and up to 300 litres of storage.
The camper unit also includes an integrated awning and LED lightbar as well as spot lights, and has two opening windows with blinds and screens.
Earthcruiser says the Express XPS slide-on camper unit “brings all the well proven go-anywhere characteristics of the ultimate Earthcruiser camper design to vehicle owners looking for the versatility of using their own base vehicle to experience the ultimate travel experience".
