Dometic offers three year warranty
Select range of fridges, air-conditioners and cookers now backed by extended factory warrantyDometic has upped its customer care program by supplying an extended, three year factory warranty on selected products.
The RV accessories giant recently introduced a new, extended warranty for most of its RV products, where buyers could elect to pay extra to extend the standard one or two year factory-backed warranty to four years.
But Dometic’s latest initiative sees the factory warranty on most of its RV range of upright fridges, air-conditioners and cookers extended to three years, with only a few exceptions.
“In addition to the standard three-year warranty on these products, consumers can also opt to extend the warranty with the Dometic Care program for an additional two years, taking the total warranty period available to five years. This level of protection was previously never an option for owners of recreational vehicles," Dometic Australia's marketing boss, Justine Schuller said.
Dometic, which operates in around 100 countries including Australia, claims to be the only supplier of RV components down under with at least one product in every RV sold. The Australian arm markets a range of products under various brands including Waeco, Truma, Air Command, and Eberspacher.
The extended warranty, along with a new brand campaign titled “Mobile Living Made Easy” that has already been rolled out across North America and Europe, will be officially launched at the Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow at the Melbourne Showgrounds from February 22-27.
