Shiny new multi-function camper trailer available from less than $4000A shiny new highly customizable, work 'n play trailer has broken cover at this year's Queensland Caravan Supershow.
Displayed by Brisbane-based Stonegate Industries, the new Stonegate Combo Trailer starts from $3648 for the basic hot dipped galvanized box trailer, before extra fittings and various camping accessories are added.
Buyers start by choosing from a wide range of single, tandem and heavy-duty box trailers, available in various sizes from 6x4 to 10x6 and with an ATM of up to 1990kg if required.
Depending on what the buyer wants to do with the trailer, they have the option of adding a 900mm high aluminium tradesman canopy, 600mm or 900mm high cage, a canvas cover, mower box with fold-up down ramp and a lockable toolbox.
For sleeping, Stonegate can also fit one of the latest Dometic roof-top tents, with either manual or electric opening, priced from $1999.
Other Dometic add-ons are also available at extra cost, including inflatable awnings, annexes and tents, a 12V air pump and a portable 40Ah lithium battery pack.
Stonegate Industries, which specialises in workhorse trailers as well as offering a range of Tucana teardrop campers, says the tradie-tough Combo Trailers are designed to "easily turn your work trailer into a camper trailer".
The shiny silver checker-plate Combo Trailer on display at the Queensland Supershow was fully decked out with camping accessories including solar panels, roof tent, awning, cooker and fridge, boosting driveaway pricing closer to $10,000 or more (depending on options fitted).
