Melbourne caravan start-up My Dream RV has released a new entry-level model, while at the same time announcing a new nationwide dealer line-up.
The new entry-level Dream Delight model priced from $74,990 (depending on state) is currently on display at the Gold Coast outlet of Destiny RV, which also stocks New Age and Zenith caravans and recently took over distribution of the My Dream RV range in the south-east Queensland and Adelaide regions.
My Dream RV is a fledgling Melbourne manufacturer that launched its first range of Dream Catcher family and couple's caravans in late-2022.
Available in an 18ft couple and 20ft family bunk models, both tandem axle, the new Dream Delight touring van range shares similar design and construction with the Dream Catcher semi off-road range, including the distinctive curved front panel designed to deliver aerodynamic as well as interior-space benefits, and other special touches like a waterproof sealant applied to the timber frame to enhance durability.
The more affordable Dream Delight range is built on a four-inch heavy-duty chassis with six inch A-frame, and comes fitted with a 50mm ball coupling, 'rocker roller' leaf spring suspension, 10in drum brakes and 15in alloys with all-terrain rubber.
Other standard features include a single 95 litre fresh water tank (with provision for a second fresh tank and a grey water tank), twin 9kg gas bottles, an electronic sway control unit, roll-out awning and a reversing camera, along with 195W rooftop solar feeding a 130Ah AGM battery.
Internal highlights include a 188 litre three-way fridge/freezer, instant hot water unit, a four burner cooktop and grille, rooftop air conditioner, 24in TV and stereo, leatherette upholstery and an innerspring mattress.
Both the family and couple Dream Delight layouts get a full width rear ensuite with separate shower and toilet, with the double bunk bed version getting an east-west parent's bed, and a north-south walkaround queen bed for the couple's floorplan.
Destiny RV currently has a 20ft Dream Delight listed at $84,990 on display at its Arundel yard at 328 Brisbane Rd, and an 18ft Dream Delight listed at $78,990 for sale at its Adelaide outlet at 817 North East Rd, Valley View.
According to the manufacturer website, there are six other My Dream RV dealers located throughout Australia, including outlets in NSW, Victoria and Western Australia, as well as another one in Queensland in the Mackay region.
