Been lusting after a big Bruder expedition caravan but can't quite justify the hefty price-tag?
The Brisbane-based manufacturer has come to the rescue with a new 'cut-price' 21ft 7in full-height couple's and family caravan that features much of the 'DNA' found in other Bruder vans, but with Aussie pricing that starts from 'just' $169,990.
According to the Bruder website, the new Bruder ADX-21 "is set to redefine the full-size off-road caravan segment" and includes trademark Bruder features like the fully sealed laser-cut chassis and all-seasons composite body, dust reduction pressurization system, hydraulic disc brakes and its patented off-road suspension including eight tuned remote-canister shock absorbers, auto-leveling and up to 300mm of travel.
Bruder lists a body width of 2.4m for the new ADX-21, along with an internal height of 2.03m and a Tare of 2420kg.
Both couple and bunk layouts include a north-south queen bed and a separate shower and composting toilet, along with 200L fresh and 75L grey water tanks, and a Victron 12V power system with 300Ah lithium batteries, a 3000W inverter and 800W solar bank.
Other standard features include a roof-mounted air conditioner and diesel hot water and space heater, and a large side window for external access to the kitchen, which also gets solid surface benchtops, an induction cooktop and 224L fridge/freezer.
Options include an electric awning, stone guard, outside shower tent, wireless rear camera, washer/dryer, Starlink provision, and up to 1200Ah lithium batteries and 1600W solar.
