Sydney’s Cub Campers has released an up spec, special edition version of its range-topping Longreach family off-road camper trailer.
Unveiled at this week’s NSW Caravan, Camping and Holiday Supershow, the Longreach LE is priced at $47,990 before on-road costs, or about $11,000 more than a standard Longreach.
However, for the added cost Longreach LE buyers get a bunch of extra features, including a new 150 x 50 x 3mm drawbar, 17in six-stud black steel wheels with Goodyear Duratrac tyres, and a rear flood light.
The Longreach LE comes standard with a hot water and shower system, along with an additional 80 litre water tank to go with the standard Longreach’s 100 litre tank.
Inside, the Longreach LE also adds some bling with remote-controlled mood lighting at the head of the bed, along with additional under-bed and floor lighting.
The double bed also comes standard with an extra thick pillow-top mattress and headrests, which house additional storage compartments. Other interior extras include a Fusion stereo and sub-woofer and bedside consoles with additional USB ports, speakers and lights.
Also included in the LE package are two bench seats with extra storage and a swivel table for inside dining, along with Redarc's latest BMS30 and RedVision Total Vehicle Management System which allows remote control of electrical items from a smartphone or tablet.
Also setting apart the Longreach LE visually from the rest of the Cub range is a unique Lithium exterior paint colour.
Cub said the Longreach LE will only be available until the end of 2019 from its nationwide dealers. The up to six berth camper has a Tare weight of 1378kg and 1900kg ATM.
