Sydney's Cub Campers has revealed a major refresh of its original caravan, the C16, introduced in 2022.
Key changes include a new outdoor storage pantry/drop-down picnic table, located next to the pull-out stainless kitchen which is available with gas or induction cooktop.

The MY26 Cub C16 off-road composite 'van also comes standard with a new Carefree electric awning with auto-retract in bad weather, and new 33in off-road tyres to match many modern tow vehicles as well as deliver more ground clearance.

Off-road, off-grid capabilities are up a notch compared to the original C16 hardtop, with Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension (BSC is an option) and a hot dipped galvanised chassis with Raptor coated drawbar and rear bar, and a standard 300Ah lithium battery system with 720W rooftop solar, and Redarc 3000W inverter, BMS100 charger and RedVision TVMS.
Cub has also replaced the nosecone storage on the original version with a new two-storey tunnel boot arrangement up front, to go with a front toolbox.
The basic rear bar and spare wheel remain, with two other rear bar options available that will carry the likes of an extra wheel, jerries and a woodbox.

Internally, Cub is offering six different layout options to suit couples and families, including king bed, twin singles and bunk bed floorplans; all with an internal kitchenette with 115L fridge and microwave, and ensuite with shower and toilet.
Tare for the latest C16 off-roader comes in around 2200kg, with a 2800kg ATM, with introductory pricing of $134,990 (plus on-road costs) comparing favourably with the $129,990 (drive away) price tag of the original '22 model.
Like other 2026 Cub models the C16 also comes with an improved seven-year structural warranty.
