Not long after re-introducing a horse float to its line-up, Sydney's Cub Campers has announced a freshen up of its popular, Australian-built range of camper trailers and hybrid caravans.
Among a number of new enhancements, boat decking vinyl is now fitted as standard across Cub's nine-model camper line-up, as is a re-engineered battery storage system to ensure "compliance with new stringent electrical standards".
Buyers can also option up a 300Ah lithium battery package on most Cub camper models, with adjustable suspension also now fitted as standard to Brumby, Escape, Frontier and Drifter models.
Other new options available on selected models include a Webasto diesel hot water and heater (Scout, Frontier, Drifter GT, and Drifter) and a stronger 150 x 50mm drawbar and ATM package with rear storage boxes (Scout). Cub's Scout and Drifter GT are also now available with an extended drawbar.
Cub has also updated some aspects of its luxury hybrid caravan range, with the L16 hard-top and H16 pop-top hybrids now coming standard with the Webasto dual heater and ARK XO750 jockey wheel, with new options available including a hand pump on the drawbar, TV antenna, Dometic DRS (Dust Reduction System), Cruisemaster ATX 2.8T airbag/ATM upgrade, Natures Head composting toilet, washing machine and electronic stability control.
The 2024 version of the range-topping Cub C16 caravan now comes standard with Cruisemaster ATX 2.8 coil spring suspension, a Redarc 3000W RS3 inverter, Redarc BMS 75Ah charger, drawbar hand pump, ARK XO750 jockey wheel, King Omni Pro TV Antenna and Dometic DRS, with Cruisemaster ATX 2.8 airbag suspension and a new internal overhead cupboard added to the options list.
There has been some price rises across the range, with the cheapest Cub camper model, the Weekender, now priced from $24,990, and the range-topping C16 caravan starting at $135,990.
After adding a new pop-top caravan and entry-level hybrid to its line-up last year, Cub said it has "more amazing products in the pipeline for 2024".
