Crusader launches cut-price Wayfarer
New entry level Wayfarer caravan from $51,990 tow-awayMelbourne's Crusader Caravans has released a range of cut-price caravans under its new Wayfarer brand, priced from $51,990.
Two 18ft 6in (body length) on-road variants will be available initially: a Wayfarer Tourer couple's model priced at $51,990 tow-away and a Wayfarer Family van for $52,990 tow-away.
The Wayfarer vans are built with traditional timber frame and aluminium side cladding, together with a one-piece composite floor and composite roof.
“We felt that we needed to enter the volume segment of the caravan market in Australia and in developing a new cost effective caravan for the budget conscious, we decided to give it a whole new identity,” Crusaders Sales and Marketing Manager, Max Mayo said.
The Wayfarer Tourer comes well equipped with a full ensuite including separate shower and toilet, queen bed, cafe dinette, and kitchen with 190 litre fridge/freezer and four-burner gas/electric cooktop and grill.
As well as a queen bed, ensuite, kitchen and dinette, the Wayfarer Family model includes two bunks with innerspring mattresses.
Other standard features across the Wayfarer range include reverse cycle air-conditioning, two fresh water tanks, two 9kg gas bottles, rollout awning and decent storage inside and out.
The new cut-price Wayfarer vans follow Crusader's introduction a couple of years' ago of its dirt-cheap Weekend Warrior.
