Cruisemaster has unleashed the full potential of its top-shelf ATX off-road air caravan suspension with new M60 compression damping shock absorbers that allow you to tune the system to both the off-road terrain you encounter and the load of your rig.
Featuring a massive 60mm bore and a finned piggyback reservoir, allowing a higher oil capacity and improved heat dispersion, the M60s come with extra heavy duty stainless steel guards for improved corrosion protection and greater impact protection.
Pre-production testing of the new ATX suspension with the M60 shocks is due to take place in August/September this year before going on sale, but the new set-up was previewed on the Cruisemaster stand at the 2022 Let’s Go Queensland Caravan and Camping Supershow in Brisbane, where it generated plenty of interest.
It's believed the M60 shockers can be retro-fitted to existing Cruisemaster ATX suspension systems and are expected to prove particularly popular with the increasing number of travellers planning extended off-road trips with large off-road caravans in these post-COVID pandemic times.
The expected release date after this year’s 'Rat Run' final testing is early-2023, when it will have an expected RRP of around $1600 per axle prior to any caravan manufacturer discounts.
