Cruisemaster changes hands

Queensland off-road suspension specialist joins Auto Pacific Group

Well-known off-road suspension and coupling specialist Cruisemaster has been taken over by multi-national vehicle accessories and towing solutions business, the Auto Pacific Group.

It's a new chapter for the 43-year-old, Brisbane-based Cruisemaster business, which was formerly known as Vehicle Components and supplies high quality off-road couplings and suspension set-ups to some of Australia's leading caravan and camper trailer manufacturers.

Andrew Goddard is the new boss of Cruisemaster

Founded by Eric Hayman in 1951 in a South Melbourne factory, Auto Pacific Group now has operations in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand and is behind a number of leading towing accessory and aftermarket brands including Hayman Reese, Kaymar and Rola.

As mentioned in the announcement video below, it's 'business as usual' at Cruisemaster HQ, although Chris Goddard will be retiring to become a grey nomad and is handing the managing director reins to his son Andrew.
