The French manufacturer behind one of the quirkiest expander caravans ever built, has turned its attention to super-fast campervan conversions.
The telescope-like BeauEr 3X, which at one time was heading to Australia under Melbourne's Roma Caravans' 'Minline' sub-brand, has recently been joined by a new slide-out camper module that quickly converts a work van into a week-end camping option.
According to BeauEr, the X-Van plug-and-play module takes just 10 minutes to install into the back of a commercial van; extending the length of the van while providing interior sleeping for two.
The camper module uses similar slide-out technology to the BeauEr 3X telescope caravan,. After screwing in some side panels, the module can be attached and removed as required. An additional two people can also be accommodated in an optional rooftop bed.
All up, BeauEr says the X-Van adds more than one square metre of space to the van, and there's also the option of a kitchen and table to go with the internal double bed.
The X-Van is designed to fit a number of vans, including models from Renault, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Fiat, Citroën, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz.
Like the BeauEr 3x, there's no word on whether the X-van will be officially available down under. Pricing in Europe starts at 6990 euros, or around $11,500.
