The new Waeco CoolFun W35 is compact in design but still fits 35L of food and drinks, thanks to the thermoelectric cooling system which takes up little spaceIts 240/12V capability means you can run it from the mains at home or the cigarette lighter of your vehicle, while the inbuilt Active Battery Security ensures that your car battery will not run flat. It cools down to 20°C below ambient temperature, or conversely, it can also heat up a meal to 65°C thanks to the reversible nature of thermoelectrics.
Easy to handle, the W35 can be rolled or carried. It comes with handles and two sturdy wheels and can be used as a chest cooler or upright fridge.
A bottle flap in the lid saves energy as you don't have to open the lid to access drink bottles. It weighs 8.7kg and retails for $179.
