Concept Caravans celebrates 20th birthday

Big-selling Melbourne caravan manufacturer rolls out updated 20th Anniversary-badged models

Concept Caravans is celebrating its 20th year since opening its doors in Campbellfield, Victoria in 2004.

To mark the major milestone, staff recently downed tools and enjoyed a celebration lunch at Concept's head office and production facility in Melbourne's north, joined by industry leaders, long-time dealers, and politicians, along with owner-directors, brothers Bruno and Steve Caruso and Keir Smith, and Concept's long-serving National Operations, Dealer and Marketing Manager, Conrad D'Cunha.

Concept Caravans is also putting special '20th Anniversary' badges on its latest 2024-build caravans, like the feature-packed 20ft 6in 'RS' off-road luxury van currently for sale at its NSW dealer, Alan Graham's Caravans.

Priced at $118,990 drive-away, it's one of the most off-grid capable models in the Concept range, with its 400Ah lithium battery system and 3000W inverter capable of running the rooftop air-conditioner for a decent amount of time when not plugged in at a caravan park.

Latest and greatest '20th Anniversary' Concept RS off-roader

The volume-selling Melbourne manufacturer also recently showcased its latest Oceanic Blue cupboard door option on its smaller RS 187 off-road model -- a bold interior highlight not unlike that used in the blue-themed 10th Anniversary models the company built back in 2014.

With more than 180 staff and a number of factories including one for making chassis, Concept also produces caravans under the Franklin, Newlands and Viscount brands, while in 2012 it starred in what has become one of the most popular caravan-construction videos on Youtube (with 1.2million views); showcasing the still popular 'stick 'n tin' process the manufacturer continues to this day...
