Victorian and NSW showgoers will get another opportunity to check out Market Direct Campers' new Robson XTT ‘tribute’ camper at this year’s Border Caravan & Camping Expo, which runs from August 25-27 at the Wodonga Racecourse.
The MDC Robson XTT was built to celebrate the life of well-known MDC employee Steve ‘Robbo’ Robson, who died suddenly in April, leaving behind a wife and six children.
Sitting atop the budget brand's hard-floor camper range, MDC says the Robson XTT is a “hybrid between our tough 4WD camper trailers and XT caravan range”.
“With its easy to assemble concertina design, the six berth camper trailer boasts two comfortable double beds at either side of the trailer, with a comfortable and spacious internal club lounge and dining area that drops down and converts into another bed for an additional two adults.”
Priced from $24,990 and boasting a Tare weight of 1570kg and ATM of 2250kg, the dual-fold, hard floor camper also comes standard with two 100 amp batteries, Projecta 240V charger, two water tanks (120L and 80L), Kenwood sound system, a full annex and floor, external ensuite and shower, 14L Truma hot water service, TV, boat rack, 120W solar panel, Smev three burner stove, independent trailing arm suspension, tropical roof and two fridge slides.
Meanwhile, MDC recently decided to shut down its Victorian showroom in Campbellfield. In its place it will soon open two new Victorian dealerships in Kilsyth and North Geelong, expanding its nationwide dealer network to nine outlets.
