Another Campbellfield, Victoria caravan manufacturer is struggling financially, with Colorado Caravans entering voluntary administration this week.
Colorado is the third low-volume Melbourne caravan builder in a fortnight to hit troubled times, with Diamond Caravans recently going into liquidation and Billabong Caravans placed in administration.
Administrators Michael Carrafa and Richard John Cauchi were appointed for the Dennis St, Campbellfield-based manufacturer that offers a range of touring, off-road and toy hauler caravans, Colorado is an “Australian family owned and operated business with over 15 years experience in the industry,” according to its website.
A creditors meeting has been set for November 12 at the offices of SV Partners Insolvency in Melbourne
"We are all very sad that we have gone into voluntary administration, but we are hoping to save the business,” Colorado Caravans' owner Jim Moutsia told Caravanning News. “We are doing all we can to continue into the future."
