Coleman has released two new and improved versions of its popular portable, on-demand hot water system.
The new models, the H2Oasis and H2Oasis Elite, both feature a new lithium-ion rechargeable battery which includes a new ‘battery lock’ mechanism that disconnects the battery when not in use to extend its life.
A new LED display on the range-topping H2Oasis Elite shows water temperature, flame indicator and battery life, whereas the digital display on the lower-spec model just shows charge indicator status.
The H2Oasis Elite also features both 240V and 12V adaptors for charging on the go, as well as two USB outlets to charge mobile phones or other devices, a longer hose and more choice in flow rates thanks to a new deluxe four setting shower head.
Like the original ‘green’ unit, the new units deliver hot water on demand in seconds, at the turn of a dial, for showering, washing, cooking and cleaning.
They both run off a disposable, lightweight gas bottle which can heat up to 150 litres of water, up to 50 degrees Celcius. Each unit weighs 8.5kg out of the box.
Pricing has gone up, with RRP for the Hot Water on Demand H2Oasis ‘red’ unit $449.95, while the H20asis ‘silver’ unit has a RRP of $549.95.
