A compact Aussie caravan, stylish Volkswagen campervan, futuristic EV 'van and a slick pod camper, are among hundreds of winners in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards.
Recognised as Australia's premier design awards, this year's event saw the Melbourne-built Yonder Wanderer caravan take home a Good Design Award - Gold category award, while Skyline Campers' T7 campervan, Skydream's Space Camping caravan, and the Stockman Rover 2 camper were all Good Design Award winners.

Designed by Chloe Mamo and Zehra Uzay and built at Yonder's Epping, Victoria factory, the Yonder Wanderer is described as a "compact full height caravan designed for older couples seeking comfort, confidence and freedom to travel without compromise."
Mamo said she was "honoured and grateful" to receive the award.
"For many years, we have been working to continually invent, improve and find new ways for families to travel, explore and experience the beauty of this incredible country we call home," she said in a Facebook post.

Arjun Aurora from Skyline Campers' R&D team was credited as the designer of the pop-top campervan, based on the latest Volkswagen Transporter T7,
"This award reflects what happens when design, engineering, prototyping and production come together as one team," Skyline said in a Facebook post.

The Space Camping all-terrain towable caravan, from California/China start-up Skydream is yet to go on sale in Australia, while the Stockman Rover 2 camper was updated earlier this year.
