All-electric caravan manufacturer Harvok is rolling out new models Down Under, including a bigger 22ft off-road caravan and a new 19ft 6in semi off-road tourer.
Both are available in couple and family bunk layouts, with the new 19ft 6in DreamCruise highway tourer fitted with Trailparts torsion 'Unihub' suspension with a Cruisemaster DO-35 coupling, instead of the Cruisemaster XT coil suspension fitted as standard to Harvok's Suit of Armour off-road vans.
The 19ft 6in DreamCruise also comes with a smaller off-grid power system including a 5KWh lithium battery pack, 360W rooftop solar and a 3000W inverter.
Both new Harvok models boast the Chinese/Australian start-up's latest 'AI' monocoque construction, which consists of a full aluminium robotically seam welded caravan body mounted to a hot-dipped galvanised steel chassis, together with aluminium framework, expanded polyurethane foam insulation and a one-piece honeycomb floor.
Production versions of both new models (which like all Harvok vans are largely built in China with some final assembly in Australia) are yet to arrive Down Under, but Harvok is hoping the DreamCruise will hit the showroom floor with a Tare of around 2750kg, and 3500kg ATM.
The 22ft PowerBank models are expected to weigh in at around 2950kg Tare and can come with an ATM of up to 4000kg, with another option to fit Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension.
"(The DreamCruise) came about because Harvok had many customers asking for a model without all the expensive off-road setup as they mostly stay at caravan parks... So they loved the fact of a monocoque body robotically seam welded shut but just wanted a touring model," Adrian Cappola from Harvok's Melbourne HQ explained.
The latest 22ft Harvok PowerBank is available with a well-equipped front north-south queen bed floorplan with kitchen, ensuite and either a club lounge or three (2100mm x 700mm) bunks at the rear, and comes standard with similar off-road and off-grid equipment as the 19ft 6in Suit of Armour, including a chassis-mounted 10Kwh battery pack, 3000W inverter, 100A DC-DC charger, and 960 watts of rooftop solar.
"It also comes standard with a 100Amp Anderson plug in the entertainment box so you can connect solar blankets," Cappola said.
"This allows you to use appliances like the air-conditioner, coffee machine, air fryer, and sandwich maker, providing you with a comfortable and convenient travel experience."
Both models are now available to order on the Harvok website, with 'early bird' pricing from $79,990 for the 19ft 6in DreamCruise, and $119,900 for the 22ft PowerBank.
