Caravan Industry Victoria has slashed ticket prices by around 35 per cent to this year's Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow which will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from February 19 to 23.
A daily ticket for adults now costs $20 (down from $29.95 in 2024) while concession passes have been cut to $18 (down from $24.94).
It's a big drop from last year's inflated ticket prices, which also saw a reduction in overall attendance to 43,500 over the five days - down from 60,000-plus visitors when the six-day Supershow was last held at the Caulfield Racecourse around 10 years ago.
The cost of off-street parking at the Flemington Racecourse remains high ($20 per car), and public trains will only run directly to the venue over the week-end.
This year's Melbourne Supershow will see more more than 240 brands on display, representing all RV categories including caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, 4x4 tow vehicles, camping equipment, gadgets, accessories and tourism businesses.
One lucky showgoer will walk away with a $59,000 Jayco Crosstrak which is first prize in the Supershow Passport to Freedom Competition.
As far as new RV reveals go, Australia's biggest RV manufacturer Jayco is expected to roll out more updated models as part of its 50th Anniversary range.
The Urban Group will unveil its latest Platinum caravans, while also on show for the first time in Melbourne will be new hybrid caravans from Snowy River and Windsor.
Other must-sees include new MY25 models in JB's off-grid caravan range, Crusader's upmarket new composite caravans, and the latest LC Customs-clad Lotus off-roaders.
Melbourne's Masterpiece Caravans is also unveiling new 10th Anniversary models at the show, along with Vacationer Caravans with its 'all-new' Endura range.
Other show 'surprises' include new 50th Anniversary models from Melbourne's Royal Flair, and a 'game-changing' new caravan from Kokoda.
Meanwhile, motorhome fans can expect to see the all-new Avida LX Explorer bush basher, JB's spacious new slide-out model, and the latest Sydney-built Trakka Torino.
When tired of haggling with salespeople, and getting their fill of over-priced snacks, show-goers will be able to rest their feet with free education talks held throughout the show, including new 'Let’s Start Caravan & Camping' sessions and RV Master Stage presentations.
There's also free entertainment for young and old at the Adventure Zone and Kids Zone.
Like previous years, pet dogs are welcome, but don't try to BYO alcohol into the mostly 'dry' event, and remember to pack the flip-flops, as there's also a strict 'no bare feet' policy.
