Melbourne-based Cell Caravans is launching its latest, feature-packed, US-built touring caravan at the Gold Coast Caravan & Camping Expo, which is on at the Gold Coast Turf Club in Bundall from July 25-27.
Like most models in Cell Caravans’ range, the new 22ft 5in, fibreglass-bodied, aluminium-framed The Track caravan is bursting with American-style features, including 12V-powered awning, stabiliser legs and front jack, and big ‘water’ capacity including a 136 litre freshwater tank and 144 litre grey water and 144 litre black water tanks.
A spacious-looking layout includes a north-south, walkaround queen bed up front, galley and entertainment unit opposite a U-shaped lounge/dinette slide-out in the middle, and big corner ensuite including separate shower/toilet and extra storage at the rear.
The de rigueur gloss white interior theme is complemented by Martha Stewart white cabinetry, Dove Grey leather trim, and a timber board-style floor covering.
The kitchen comes well equipped with 185 litre fridge/freezer, stainless steel double sink with filter tap, three-burner gas cooktop, rangehood and microwave, while the entertainment hub includes 24inch LED TV/DVD and latest Fusion 700 Series audio system with iPhone docking.
The Track also comes with roof-mounted air-conditioning and gas ducted heating to cover all seasons. Not surprisingly, it’s no lightweight with a 3000kg ATM, and the level of luxury is also reflected in the $88,500 pricetag.
However, despite the impressive standard equipment list there's plenty of opportunity to customise The Track with numerous options including a washing machine, satellite system, dishwasher and off-road package.
If you miss the Gold Coast show, the new model is available for viewing by appointment at Cell Caravans’ Melbourne showroom, or visit
Cell's website for further details.
