Jayco has signed up another vanbassador; throwing the keys of a brand spanking new Silverline caravan to former Perfect Match TV host and Smooth FM radio presenter Cameron Daddo, and his wife, former model and podcaster Alison Brahe-Daddo.
Self-confessed caravan newbies, the Daddo duo returned to Australia after spending more than two decades overseas and are planning to head off on "a series of escapes around Australia".
While Alison is a bit younger, Cameron officially qualifies as a grey nomad, having recently celebrated his 60th birthday -- a significant milestone like Jayco's 50th in 2025.
“After 25 years living abroad, we’re so excited to rediscover this incredible country we call home, and we couldn’t wish for a better partner to begin our caravan journey with,” he said.
“We’re proud to represent a brand that shares our love of the outdoors and commitment to making lifelong family memories.”
The long-time married couple are yet to talk about any of the fancy features on the latest Silverline model or tell us which tow vehicle they'll be driving, or whether any of their three children will be joining them for Happy Hour drinks en-route.
"We’re first timers, so there’s no doubt gonna be some fast learning and fun times," Cam said.
According to Jayco the plan is to provide regular updates on social media as the pair discover new places in Australia they haven't been to before.
"Known for their long-standing careers in entertainment, radio and podcasting, Cam and Ali will share their travels and reflections with audiences along the way – from road trip rituals and hidden gems to the occasional campfire confession," Australia's biggest RV manufacturer said in a statement.
