Caravan Supershows return in 2021
Dates announced for major capital city caravan shows next yearAll of the 'Big 3' east coast capital-city caravan shows are set to return in 2021, with Caravan Industry Victoria recently announcing the next Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow will take place in May next year, instead of the usual timeslot in late-February.
The shorter, COVIDSafe show is scheduled to run for four days from May 13-16 at Melbourne's Sandown Racecourse, rather than the usual five days at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
The 2020 Victorian Supershow in February 20-24, was the last physical caravan show conducted by the Victorian industry association due to COVID-19 restrictions.
CIV CEO Rob Lucas said the new time and venue for the Melbourne Supershow is a one-off occurrence for 2021-only.
“It is rather fitting that the first physical show to return to Caravan Industry Victoria’s show calendar is one of the biggest and longest running shows in Victoria; it's one which will kick start the calendar and connect consumers and exhibitors in one place," he said.
The Caravan Camping Industry Association of NSW is set to run the 2021 NSW Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow from April 13-19 at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Rosehill, after being forced to cancel the 2020 event.
Caravanning Queensland has also announced dates for the 2021 Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Camping Supershow, which will be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds from June 2-7 after the 2020 show was cancelled.
