You could argue that many of the latest 'stick ' tin' caravans offer plenty of 'olde worlde' charm, but for those who want a real dose of caravan nostalgia a new UK-based business might have just the thing...
Launched earlier this year and still ramping up production, the fledgling Plymouth, UK-based manufacturer is offering reproduction 1930s vintage-look caravans to buyers who really want to stand out at the caravan park.

Heritage says the styling of its caravans is based on 1930s touring caravans, right down to the shaped bodywork and 'Mollycroft/showman' roof.
The retro vans will be "expertly hand crafted using aluminium sheet body work and natural timbers internally. Sheeps wool has been used for wall and roof cavity insulation to maintain sustainability and to promote eco-friendly practices".

"The bodywork is finiished in the historic British Motor Corporation paint codes for an iconic vintage look. All caravan fabrics and finishes are tailored to the customer's requirements to make each caravan unique to its owner," it says on the Heritage Caravans website.
"Although based on 1930s models, the caravan equipment is entirely modern with recognisable features well known to caravan enthusiasts."
Heritage says its three-model range will provide "an alternative to mass-produced white caravans manufactured today. Over the decades caravan design, although functional, has lost its charm and Heritage Caravans with their unique approach are seeking to recreate this".
The single and tandem axle caravans will be available with both two and four berth layouts, with production expected to start around September 2022. They'll all be hand built and manufactured to special order, with starting prices from £54,495 to £74,995 (approximately $96,000 to $133,000 Aussie dollars.)
