An ex-cop turned singer-songwriter is hitting all the high notes -- literally -- as he tours Queensland with a special caravan in tow and performs his award-winning country songs in small Outback towns.
Supported by Queensland's Sunland Caravans, Kevin Sullivan together with wife Belinda and three kids is travelling with a specially-built 21ft 6in family van while playing live gigs and performing in small rural festivals during these COVID-restricted times.
The former forensic crime scene detective turned to a musical career after 27 years in the police force, in which he was medically discharged in 2011 with a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

"I'd always played music during my life. When I was in the police I used music as an outlet. But I started writing songs about what I'd experienced (in the police force)," he told the Daily Telegraph.
Sullivan hasn't looked back since attending the Senior Academy of Country Music in Tamworth as a 52 year old, and has recorded a number of chart-topping country songs including a duet with Kasey Chamber's father Bill called High Country Snow.
The unique triple bunk, slide-out caravan nicknamed the ‘Sulli-Van’ features in the country singer's latest toe-tapping music video, 'Spend the Kids Inheritance' (make sure you watch right to the end to see the very non-law-abiding act of Kevin playing his guitar on the van's roof as it travels down the road!)
