Caravan Club heads out

The new Australian Caravan Club (ACC) has hosted its first social events for members.

The first social weekends of the newly-formed Australian Caravan Club (ACC) have been held in three States with great success.

Club members gathered at the Forest Glen Big 4 Caravan Park near Nambour, Qld; the Top Tourist Golden Nugget Tourist Park at Epsom near Bendigo, Vic; and at the Dunleith Tourist Park on the Central Coast of NSW. More weekends are planned for the rest of the year.

At each event, directors of the new club greeted members and outlined the progress of the club’s plans to become the leading body representing caravanners and camper trailer owners in Australia. Members at all the meetings voted to hold at least four local weekend gatherings a year.

Directors modelled the club’s new polo shirts at all the meets, which were met with universal approval. Shirts are the first in a line of merchandise that will be available from the club’s new ‘shop’.

With a potential membership of many thousands of caravanners and camper trailer owners, the ACC will work in the interests of its members.
