Motorhome buyers spoilt for choice at this month's Let's Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo in QueenslandLooking for a fancy new motorised RV to head off on a long week-end or winery tour getaway, or perhaps something more luxurious for a Big Lap?
If you're in the vicinity of Queensland's Sunshine Coast later this month, the best place for motorhome and campervan browsing is at the Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, at the Nambour Showgrounds (August 22-24).
Dozens of motorhome models, from compact campers to big slide-out highway cruisers, will be on display at the annual event, which also is a good place to see some of the latest caravans, camper trailers, hybrids and tourism destinations, among the 100 or so exhibitors.
Among the fresh motorhome metal will be the latest Crafter van-based motorhomes from West Gosford NSW-based Skyline Campers, while Meridian Plains, Queensland-based Unearthed RV will have its Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 and rear-drive campervan conversions, complete with eye-catching bespoke fit-outs, on display.
If you prefer a more mainstream or established campervan and motorhome brand, you can also browse the campervans and motorhomes on display at the Jayco, Avan, Avida, Horizon, Frontline, Interstate, JB, Windsor, Auto-Trail, Winnebago, Paradise, and Willow stands.
"Whether you're upgrading your setup or just dreaming of your next adventure, this event brings together the latest and greatest in motorhomes, campervans, caravans, tent trailers and accessories, all in one vibrant, family and pet-friendly space," Caravanning Queensland CEO Jason Plant said.
Free entertainment at the show includes VANSafe masterclasses, live music at the VANJAM beer garden, bush cooking demos with Mick the Camp Oven Cook, working dog demonstrations, Reptile Awareness Display talks, and free kids' face painting over the week-end.
There's also the chance to win a Suncoast Caravan Service 'Ultimate Adventure Pack' valued at up to $13,300.
