Take two basic ingredients and combine them to create a family favourite from time immemorial. This classic dish most definitely adds up to more than the sum of its parts, and it's great for when you're on the road because you can make it in a flash. Enjoy!
Mac and Cheese
Preparation time: 2 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves two people
Ingredients:
Elbow pasta or macaroni
Bottled alfredo sauce
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
Butter
Equipment:
Aluminium pie tins
Small pasta pot
Method:
Cook pasta as per directions.
Drain once cooked.
Stir in the cheese, alfredo sauce and small amount of butter.
Season with salt and pepper.
Divide the mac and cheese in between the aluminium pie tins.
Place pie tins on the grill.
Heat the dish for 8-10 minutes and the cheese will be melty and delicious.
Serve either in aluminium tins or camp pan bowls. Bon appetite!
